ABC Player Overview
What is ABC Player? ABC Player is a media player designed for Mac OS X that takes advantage of OS X technologies to provide smooth video playback. It supports most audio and video codecs, lossless audios, and various subtitle types. The player can handle HD, Full HD, Quad HD, and Ultra HD videos, including HDR10+ videos, and provides the best image quality with Retina display. It also supports stereo and surround audio, 3D video playback, and beautiful audio visualization. The player uses hardware video decoding if available, multi-core video decoding, and has low CPU and energy usage. However, to play Ultra HD (4K HEVC) videos, users need a Mac with 7th, 8th, 9th Generation Intel processor or a Mac from 2013 or later with 4 cores or more.
